Adventure 1 - Hiking, ok so we cheated and took the bus half way up the hill, but it was still a solid 2 hour hike through the forest near Liestal. We discovered old bunkers that were built as look out posts during world war 1, then climbed to the top of an observation tower right at the peak for some great views across Switzerland and Germany.

On the trek home we chanced across a model airplane flying club, who were completely engrossed in their art of flying gliders, helicopters, spitfires (3 in formation.......yeeeees!!) and even jet powered remote controlled model planes!!!
Yes, you read that right, JET powered,
J E T powered!
Did we mention that some of the planes were jet powered?
