Anne Frank, Usborne Famous Lives Series.

I read the Usbourne Anne frank book when I was 8 years old.
It taught me a lot about Anne frank. It also made me very interested in her and wanted to learn more.
I enjoyed it so much that I couldn't wait to turn the page! It made me feel sorry for Anne, but also very curious. It told me the story about how her and her family went into hiding. I learnt that they lived in hiding for 2 years in a building behind Otto Frank's (her dad) work building. They lived with another family and a man who used to work as a dentist. It also taught me that they had to be quiet throughout the whole day because of the work staff beneath them. Only a few work staff knew about the people upstairs in hiding.
The book then ended with pictures of a concentration camp, it made me feel so sorry for the Jewish people that had been taken there.
I think it is a great book for kids my age to learn about this part of history.
I liked the story so much and think that she was very brave.
