Choose Life is a .........
Hey, come on, we can't review our own book!
Thankfully some other people have been kind enough to review 'Choose Life' for us!
Dan wrote the book to help people understand they could travel long-term with family, and we are honoured to have inspired so many people to 'Choose Life."
"This is an important message. Choose the life you want and make it happen. It's possible! People are doing it!"
"I’m writing this from Chiangmai Thailand. I’ve been living on the road for years with my family. Daniel offers very practical advise and schooled me on some hacks when I thought I knew them all. Tightly written. Fast, easy read. I know much about the topic matter and gained value. I think the knowledge in this book is invaluable for somebody considering or just start their journey."
"I tore through this book in a few hours. It has painfully re-awakened my desperate need to follow in the footsteps of the intrepid vagabonds of the world."
"Just finished this book and really enjoyed it. We are a Third Culture Kid family (three generations), expats, worldschoolers and I have birthed and raised 5 kids around the world so are pretty comfortable with these ideas. But even having chosen this lifestyle already, Daniel's book provided inspiration, support, and clarity about what we are doing. I learned new ideas and refreshed my thoughts on house swapping and I especially liked all his links to blogs and sites that can help. I am opening his book on my laptop kindle app so that it will be easier to click on those and spend the weekend lost in planning and ideas:) Daniel states how Tim Ferris' book inspired him and yet I think this book will do more to inspire families to make these important changes. Tim's book missed out on that and excluded slightly older groups who put family first. Daniel turns this around and makes that his focus which is wonderful. Hope he inspires many."
"As a parent who was tired of the corporate rat race (and I also owned a brick and mortar small business.... never again!) I also wanted to give my children a more fulfilling life, adventure, a global education and more options for the future than I had growing up. I had traveled abroad a lot pre kids and was thrilled to learn that it's possible to travel long term with young children and that more and more families are doing it. Like Daniel, I had read the Four Hour Workweek (he's correct... it is life changing) and joined some family travel Facebook groups. That is where I first connected with Daniel and my kids and I met the Prince family one afternoon in May 2015 while they were in Seattle. They were one of the first of many traveling families we've met since. We met a year before my children and I set off for our own adventure abroad and I was so eager to learn from Daniel and Clair how to pull off this amazing new lifestyle. They basically gave me a mini version of this book but verbally and in person! Now that we have a year of family travel under our belts (traveling mostly throughout Asia and a bit of Europe) and about to take off for another year (this time South America), I can say that this book is really well done, on target and chock full of valuable tips and advice. It's a quick and enjoyable read and pretty thorough for a 200 page book. It hits the main points a parent would want to know about traveling the world with kids, educating them, earning income on the road, money saving hacks and other realities of this lifestyle. I could really relate to Daniel and Clair's transition from their secure but soul sucking corporate grind to their more adventurous and soul freeing worldschooling and traveling lifestyle. I too had to face fears, criticism from family and friends and had to invest a lot of time learning and trying to figure out all the logistics of family travel, worldschooling and becoming a digital nomad. Luckily we have the internet to help us learn and earn and also access to a growing community of like-minded, freedom seeking, lifestyle re-designing parents and global citizens! If you are curious at all about unplugging from the matrix and freeing yourself and your family to explore the world, read this book!"
